  Did you know that Mongolia has more than three million horses? Mongolia is  definitely  the best place to ride horse. Standing no taller than 1.6 meters at shoulder height, Mongolian horses may look at ponies at first glance. However, Mongol horses are very strong with amazing stamina. They are the best horse breed to adapt to Mongolia’s harsh climatic conditions and nomadic way of life. Catching horses with Uurga Horse is a main part of nomad’s life but still maintain their wild nature.  The horses live in herds, led by a stallion who guides the horses to water, shelter and safety.  The horses are hardy and adapted to living out in temperatures that can reach -45c, and are able to forage for food in any conditions.
